The Youngstown Area Development Corporation (YADC) is a private, not-for profit
community development organization whose goals are to improve the economic and social
life of minority persons in the Youngstown area and in the process improve the quality of life
for all the residents of Youngstown. YADC's founders had been engaged in business,
professional, civil rights and labor activities for many years.
YADC was born out of a commitment that meaningful programs for African-Americans,
Hispanics, Asian-Indian American, Mexican-Americans, Native Americans, females and
disadvantaged persons must be developed if Youngstown and in fact, our nation was to
achieve lasting, meaningful progress and equality for all people.
The MCBAP program is funded by the Ohio Department of Development, Minority Business
Development Division. Special arrangements for the handicapped will be made if requested
in advance. This program is provided on a non-discriminatory basis to MBE's and
prospective MBE's.
